HULL SURVEY
This type of survey focuses on the condition of the vessel's hull with particular regard to the metal thickness and corrosion processes. For this type of survey to be undertaken the vessel must be out of the water.
INTERNAL SURVEY
An internal survey is an inspection of the engine and internal domestic systems. For this type of survey to be undertaken the vessel can remain in the water.
VALUATIONS
Generally provided to satisfy requests from insurance companies to give an opinion of the vessels value.
It may also be provided for potential buyers as an agreement of the agreed selling price.
A valuation can only be completed in conjunction with a full survey.
